I truly love what I do for a living; it is a career of the heart!
My desire is to guide you to live in alignment with your body’s wisdom for healing. Through the ancient ways of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we are guided to our innate ability to heal in this climate of overwhelm we currently live in. Let us remember our immune system is the most perfect design, and fully able to do its work when we support and allow “the energy to flow.”
- Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist

At my own business, Seasons Health, I’ve created a cozy treatment space in The Acupuncture Cabin amongst a pollinator garden in North Central Austin.

There, I offer my patients an unhurried, deep listening and individualized personal care. My offerings include:
- Traditional Chinese Medicine – including: Acupuncture, Diet, Lifestyle and Holistic Healthcare Coaching
- Healing Qi Gong (Moving Meditation) sessions
- NADA Acu Detox Treatments for support in recovery from trauma, addiction, mental health issues
- Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) – a somatic emotional treatment to assist your body in releasing long held patterns from traumatic events or unresolved emotional issues causing pain or emotional imbalance.
- Specialties include PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, as well as fertility, prenatal, postpartum, adolescent and pediatric TCM
I’m a Texas native, a fifth generation Austinite and avid lover of the outdoors! My journey upon this planet moves through my love of nature, and a reverence for our deep connection to Mother Earth and her rhythms. This lead me to study the traditional art of Chinese Medicine, five elements and Taoism. I am a life long student, practitioner and consumer of this ancient wisdom, and deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and sharing it with my tribe.
I have owned and operated Seasons Health since 2002. There I practice all aspects of TCM. My experience includes:
- Seven years in two TCM fertility clinics — specializing in fertility, prenatal, postpartum and pediatric care,
- One year in an Austin community clinic, and
- Several years at Peoples RX Wellness Center North alongside their team of functional medicine practitioners
- Currently an instructor of Qi Gong (moving / breathing meditation), and Acupuncturist at Amend Wellness Retreat – A residential recovery treatment facility for addiction and mental health
Arriving at my passion for TCM was an unconventional and winding road, all of which has contributed to my healing arts practice. I first worked as a legal secretary, then a local and state government consultant for the McGinnis, Lochridge and Kilgore law firm. While working in the legal field, I completed my bachelors degree at the University of Texas in Photojournalism and Latin American Studies. Interested in minority issues, and wanting to plant myself where I could be of help, I wrote and was photo editor for Tejas, a UT magazine focused on minority issues. I also exhibited my photographs locally. I then taught photojournalism for two years to 6th graders in an after school enrichment program, and guided children in English as a second language at Zavala Elementary.
After graduating from UT, I sought relief from allergies and asthma I’d had since childhood. Impressed by the emotional and physical healing I found in TCM, I was moved to independently study Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this field, I’ve found my heart’s work, and a lifetime passion for the healing arts. I enjoy connecting my clients to the vital role they play in their own health and well-being, their body’s wisdom, and the importance of a local/seasonal diet, good nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle connected to the patterns and rhythms of nature.
After conceiving and giving birth to a child at 43 with the support of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I was further guided to specialize in TCM fertility, prenatal, postpartum and pediatric care. I love babies, and so I practice and teach Pediatric Tui Na, an acupressure massage for infants and young children that supports a balanced and strong immune system and treats common childhood health issues. It’s a beautiful tool for parents to use at home.
I gently remind you to slow down, connect to your breath, move to the speed of nature — not technology — and connect to the Earth’s healing heartbeat!
